Buying Barbados property can be easier than you think as long as you know the rules.  First off, there are very few restrictions for people buying land here who are not citizens of Barbados.  All you have to do is get permission in writing from the Central Bank of Barbados, who are more than responsive to these sort of requests because they know that they owe a large part of their vibrant economy to the influx of non-national property buyers and investors. Secondly, it is important to realize that if you are physically bringing the money into Barbados to purchase the land, that money has to be registered with the Central Bank as well.  Other than that, there are very few restrictions when it comes to buying property here in Barbados.
