After the autumn
After the autumn and before the spring, it is the coldest season of the year called as the winter. The winter days are the shortest and the winter nights are longest. December, January and February are officially considered as the winter months of the Northern Hemisphere. The prime feature of the winter is characterized by snowfall and leaving some places permanently snow-covered. When the temperatures fall below -30°C, there is a rare atmospheric phenomenon in which suspension of ice crystals formed in the air called the Ice fog. During the winter humans are prone to be affected by common cold and other health problems associated with cold and snowy weather. Infratech heaters are used to maintain the environment suitably warm. People also tend to use woolen clothing to stay protected from the cold weather. There could be blizzards or winter-storms causing problems for transportation and even damage to property and life. The winter is season for sports like Ice Hockey and Ice Biking. It is also a season for fun and interesting activities too such as Skiing, Snowball fighting, Sledging, Building snowman and snow castles.
